FRANCE – PARIS – British dominatrix Lady Bellatrix has launched a new website, Femdom Royalty, along with a quarterly magazine of the same name that will be available in both digital and print formats.

The venture will see Lady Bellatrix combine her 15 years of experience as a dominatrix with her decade-long career as a published columnist in the UK.

“We live in times of uncertainty, and I wanted to future-proof my career,” said Lady Bellatrix. “So, I thought what better way to do that than to merge my two skill sets to create a legacy. Not only for myself, but to shine a light on all the dynamic, hard-working women in the Femdom scene. I also wanted to preserve the arts and traditions of BDSM as we move forward into a technological era.”

Femdom Royalty is described as a “female-led platform designed to amplify the voices within the world of Female Domination and celebrate the accomplishments of international dominatrices who have made enormous contributions to the BDSM universe,” said a rep, who added that each issue will feature three exclusive interviews with established dominatrices.

USA – (Bloomberg) — Katherine Green, a dominatrix who creates online adult videos, wasn’t expecting a windfall from President Donald Trump’s signature push to make tips tax-free.

But the Houston-based OnlyFans Ltd. creator, who goes by the title Mistress professionally, had her hopes raised when the Trump administration issued guidance last week including digital content creators like Green among the job categories eligible for the break, along with dancers, waitresses and golf caddies.

“It’s really exciting news. It was a surprise,” Green said Tuesday, adding she hoped to get “a decent-sized tax break.”

Yet Green and other creators of online adult content could ultimately be excluded.

Late Wednesday, after Bloomberg published a story about influencers who were potential beneficiaries, Treasury’s Assistant Secretary of Tax Policy Ken Kies said in a statement the department would issue further guidance in the coming weeks declaring ineligible tips collected in connection with “illegal activity, prostitution or pornography.”

USA – CALIFORNIA – Michaela Rylaarsdam, the OnlyFans model who was arrested earlier this year, is set to stand trial for murder after 55-year-old Michael Dale died during a fetish experience in 2023.

Michaela and Michael engaged in BDSM play three years ago, which included putting a plastic bag over his head and multiple layers of duct tape. Last week, Judge Daniel Link heard half a day’s worth of testimony from both the prosecution and defence. Although he noted that the standard required at a preliminary hearing is considerably less than the proof beyond a reasonable doubt required at trial, he stated there was sufficient evidence to proceed with the trial process.

While Deputy District Attorney David Jarman, who is prosecuting the case, said the crimes constituted second-degree murder, the defence’s Daniel Cohen argued it was a “tragic accident.”

“She tried to save him,” he said, with the judge acknowledging how the case presented “a unique set of facts.”

“When does bondage and fetish turn into implied malice?” he asked. “I’ll fully admit I don’t know what a jury is going to do with this, if it even gets that far.”

No trial date has been set as of yet, but Michaela Rylaarsdam is due back in court later this month.
