Casa Amor’s three bedroom maisonette known as the ‘Hot Tub Suite’ found in Southampton, Hampshire, is a kink’s dream.

Inside you can find a ‘state of the art’ intimacy swing, a pillory bed with ropes, restraints and handcuffs, an St Andrew’s Cross, and an intimacy couch.

The sex-themed property – which is spread across three floors – also has soundproof walls and includes a ‘discrete’ private garden entrance which is also fitted with a ‘secluded’ hot tub area.

The website says the boutique apartment makes for a private and secure ‘kinky couples getaway and the ultimate romantic stay’.

One couple who visited said: “Would highly recommend for a chilled kinky break away. It never will disappoint, this is our second time and we can’t get enough. We can’t wait to come back again soon.”

Another person said: “My second time of staying for my partner’s birthday, but this time we stayed for two nights as one night wasn’t enough and will be definitely staying again next year.

One other visitor said: “It was sexy, exciting and basically amazing – we had the best time. We will be returning.”

A Dominatrix, Cyberstalking, And Sour Grapes: Lawsuit(s) Against Biglaw Partner By Former Firm Is Quite The Journey

Worldwide BDSM News From The Media Posted on Wed, November 19, 2025 01:43:57

Partner’s lateral move revealed quite a lot.

USA – Last week, a lawsuit against Blank Rome finance partner James Cretella was filed by his former firm, Otterbourg P.C., for breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraudulent concealment, and unjust enrichment. The allegations in the suit are a roller coaster ride that swings between the banal and sensational. For example, Otterbourg alleges Cretella didn’t disclose his impending departure until after he’d collected a seven-figure bonus and that he solicited clients to join him at his new firm. From the complaint: “He accepted [the bonus] knowing full well he was leaving and that he had perpetuated a scheme to try to hobble the Firm and bolster a competitor while conspiring with another exiting partner and concealing material facts that would have changed the Board’s decision to give him a bonus.”

Which are interesting, if somewhat expected, allegations following a partner’s lateral move. These things don’t typically come to litigation, but they’re certainly known pain points. But then there are the escort allegations.

According to the complaint, Cretella met up with an escort and other women while traveling on firm business. During a forensic examination of Cretella’s firm-issued and firm-paid phone, it was revealed that he allegedly engaged in “highly inappropriate and potentially unlawful personal conduct that Cretella engaged in during Firm-funded travel,” that included texts messages with an “upscale dominatrix” known as “Goddess Kat.”

The Smell Of Kink (Dominatrix Eva Oh and others)

Worldwide BDSM News From The Media Posted on Wed, November 19, 2025 01:35:46

Forget vanilla: the buzziest new fragrances feature notes of sweat, leather, and hot, plasticky latex.

Source: Coveteur.com

GERMANY – BERLIN – Last year, I wore a latex top to a club in Berlin. I’d been going often, but that night, something shifted. The moment I walked in, it felt like I’d been initiated into a secret society. Strangers approached to talk about their latex fetishes. I felt sexy and powerful in the material, finding a strength in the transgressive act of “kink signaling.” I had tapped into something deeper, something that had been simmering just beneath the surface.

Kink [noun]: a sexual desire or practice regarded as unusual or unconventional. Ever since the 2011 release of Fifty Shades of Grey, kink has slowly made its way into the mainstream (even if the film wasn’t exactly the most realistic portrayal of a BDSM relationship). Since then, the Internet has enabled far easier access to previously underground sexual spaces, from sex workers on social media to fetish-friendly dating apps like Feeld. And now, even fragrance is starting to explore its kinky side.

Sex and scent are inextricably interlinked, but to think kink and fetish is just about sex would be reductive. “You use kinks to achieve psychological headspaces,” dominatrix Eva Oh explains. “Let’s say, bondage: you’re putting people in a vulnerable position when they normally have such freedom. They get to experience a sense of extreme vulnerability, but in a space of caring. Essentially you’re moving somebody’s mind and heart.” Kink is also very much about tapping into our hidden and (often socially taboo) desires that simmer under the surface, often stemming from deeply buried memories—just like our proclivity for certain perfumes. So, it makes sense that in an age of increasing uncertainty, loneliness and alienation from oneself, our appetites for intimacy, control and sexually-charged scents would be growing. And what better way to access a different headspace than to spritz a kinky-smelling scent?

The choking porn (BDSM red. BDSMradio.EU) ban is not enough (UK)

Worldwide BDSM News From The Media Posted on Wed, November 19, 2025 01:21:05

The government announced that it will prohibit “vile and dangerous” strangulation pornography

Source: Newstatesman.com

UK – Britain is coming for hardcore BDSM (bondage, domination, sadomasochism). The government confirmed on Monday that online porn depicting “vile and dangerous” strangulation will be banned nationwide – the latest step in their mission to halve violence against women and girls within a decade. Yet in an online world flooded with misogynistic content and extreme pornography, will the ban actually make sex any safer for women?

Sexual violence organisations think so, but others aren’t convinced, with a flurry of X posters theorising that Keir Starmer banning choking porn under the guise of defending women is “misogynistic,” and that the ban amounted to repressive kink-shaming.

These claims aren’t totally ungrounded. The UK government certainly has a puritanical track record of policing sexual norms. In 2014, several steamy acts including spanking, face-sitting and female ejaculation were banned from pornography. Protestors held a mass face-sitting protest outside parliament against what they felt was an assault on sexual freedom and female pleasure. Five years later, the bans were quietly overturned.

What BDSM Players Can Teach All Lovers

Worldwide BDSM News From The Media Posted on Wed, November 19, 2025 01:06:46

All sex experts urge communication. Those involved in BDSM show how.

Key points

  • Sex experts agree that partner communication is key to great sex. But talking about sex is difficult.
  • BDSM often involves written contracts specifying play that’s welcome and play that’s not.
  • At every erotic escalation, initiator should ask those on the receiving end, “Is this OK?”

Source: Psychologytoday.com

USA – Sex experts talk themselves hoarse urging people to discuss—and negotiate—the details of their lovemaking. The problem is that many couples find sexual details difficult, if not impossible, to discuss.

Photo special thanks: Vintagebdsmart.com

An example: One study showed that when sex causes women pain, only half (51 percent) tell their partners, and usually only if the pain is severe. If half of women don’t mention sex hurting, how likely are they to raise less urgent issues? Probably not very. There is no similar study of men, but women frequently complain that men don’t discuss their feelings, so how likely are they to discuss the details of their lovemaking?

Fortunately, for couples interested in boosting sexual communication, a marvelous model is available from people who enjoy bondage, discipline, and sado-masochism (BDSM).

Map reveals the ‘snobby’ UK city filled with puppy play fetishists (UK CITY MAP)

UK – Residents of Edinburgh, a city known for its vibrant arts scene and historic castle, have at times been criticised for ‘snobbiness’.

But it seems they aren’t afraid to get a little down and dirty, as the Scottish hub has newly been appointed as the puppy play fetish capital of the UK.

It’s not just the odd stray getting involved here, with a new survey revealing puppy play rates in Edinburgh are nearly double the national average.

The fetish involves a form of adult role play — particularly popular in the gay community — where people dress up and embody the mannerisms of a dog.

Interview with Vera Nevi: ‘Until Nobody Dies’ and The Power to Always Choose (Italy)

Worldwide BDSM News From The Media Posted on Wed, November 19, 2025 00:22:41

ITALY – There are stories that wait ten years before being told, not out of modesty, but to find the right moment when the voice becomes clearer and distance allows looking back without filters. “Finché nessuno muore” (Until Nobody Dies) is one of these: the autobiographical account written under the pseudonym of Vera Nevi, a former professional dominatrix, who chose to put in black and white a piece of her life lived in the early 2000s in Milan.

See more larger photo’s on: Theitalianreve.com

In this conversation, Vera doesn’t sugar-coat it: she talks about power and submission, about men who hide unspeakable desires behind their facade, about a Milan that has lost its soul becoming a showcase for petty bourgeois ambitions. But above all, she tells how control, the kind she exercised in her sessions as a dominatrix, became writing, the only space where you can truly govern something: a story, with its questions and answers. Between nostalgia for a present she fears losing and hope for the future, Vera gives us a sincere and disenchanted portrait of someone who chose to always take the space she desired, with the right irreverence and profound awareness.
First of all, congratulations on the book, I loved “Finché nessuno muore” (Until Nobody Dies). It’s a glimpse into your personal story and direct experience, but when and how did the desire to put it in writing come to you?

It took me ten years before I sat down and started writing this story. Even though I knew it by heart (obviously) and had told it on various social occasions, at some dinners to get a smile, I wasn’t sure I knew how to write it. Then I finished a work project that left me with a lot of free time and I thought that was the perfect opportunity to try.

“Names have never been important to me, they’re all the same, you’re all the same and you all want the same thing” is one of the first sentences you read at the beginning: after all the experiences you’ve lived through, do you still think this? Or has your approach towards individuality, so to speak, towards others, individual people with their worlds, interests and ways of living, changed? Also thinking about how much society has changed compared to the early 2000s.

Unfortunately, that sentence is increasingly true in my opinion. Even more so today when, thanks to social media, we can express ourselves in all our nuances and gift it to others. I love romanticizing people, events and everything else, and I succeed at it for the time of an aperitif at most, but the truth is that we are boringly all the same. Only a few people surprise me with something really interesting to say; in fact, I still have a lot of trouble remembering names. I don’t want to sound harsh in saying this, but I chose the name “Vera” (Truth) promising myself to use it properly, so I won’t sugar-coat it!

Rapist Thomas Marechal highlighted his kinky sex preferences when he gave evidence in his own defence at the High Court in Livingston.

The 46-year-old claimed a mum he attempted to rape and another woman he raped while she was sleeping had both consented to sexual activity with him.

Marechal said he met the woman he spanked and tried to rape after she told him on social media that she shared his interest in BDSM (Bondage, Discipline or Dominance, Sadism and Masochism).

The sexual practices, brought to the attention of the wider public by the erotic romance novel 50 Shades of Grey and related movies, involve controlling behaviour and inflicting sometimes painful punishment
