NETHERLANDS – Prime Video will soon fully immerse itself in the Dutch sex industry. Sex, Sweat and Tears is a six-part series about the lives of eight entrepreneurs in that business. From sex worker to porn producer and from BDSM creator to gigolo.

They show how they fill their days and, in some cases, gaps. Who are the people behind the fantasies? What is their story? And how do they remain relevant in a world where sexual desires and intimacy can increasingly be satisfied online?

These are the entrepreneurs:

Madame Lucette is a 54-year-old 18+ content creator from The Hague, known as ‘De Buurvrouw’ on social media: a character with which she plays on a well-known fantasy.

James is the owner of Mr. Perfect, a high-end gigolo service. After a long career as a real estate agent, he made the switch to the escort industry.

Daisy is the 32-year-old manager of the erotic sauna club Le Grand in Zundert. With her outspoken personality and use of social media, she reaches a new audience.

Curved Marvin is a porn actor and producer, content creator, and by now an established name in the industry.

Dottie Mae is the owner of Dott Luxury, an eccentric fetish shop in Vlaardingen. After years of being active in the BDSM scene, she turned her passion into her profession.

Esluna is a content creator and describes herself as an ‘online fantasy’ – specializing in content revolving around female domination, financial domination, leather, and latex.

Crazy Little Peter , in everyday life Peter is a well-known porn producer and former porn actor.

Melinde is a 30-year-old sex worker from Breukelen and calls herself a ‘bed artist’ – specializing in sex lessons for people who want to gain more knowledge or experience.

Sex, Sweat and Tears  will be available on Prime Video starting Wednesday, November 4.
