AUSTRALIA – KINGS CROSS – A MAN who goes by the moniker “The Wolf” in the online Bondage, Domination, Sadism and Masochism community has been charged for allegedly raping a 21-year-old woman multiple times at a CBD hotel.

Liam Gordon Murphy, 41, who is understood to have “legendary status” among Sydney’s online BDSM community according to a police source, met the woman through the website Fetlife.

The website boasts more than five million members that share 27 million photos and has 338, 512 videos. It bills itself as “kinky heaven”.

“Fetlife is the social network for the BDSM, fetish and kinky community. Like Facebook, but run by kinksters like you and me. We think it is more fun that way. Don’t you?” Its website reads.

The pair met at a Kings Cross hotel on August 21, 2015 but the planned sexual encounter allegedly got out of hand. Police allege Murphy raped the woman twice and attempted to rape her once.

Officers arrested Mr Murphy at his Little Bay home on Tuesday seizing several computers and other items for “forensic analysis”.

He was charged two counts of aggravated sexual assault (inflict actual bodily harm) and one count of attempted aggravated sexual assault (inflict actual bodily harm).

Police granted him bail to appear at Downing Centre Local Court in December.

His bail conditions state he must not use the website www.fetlife.com “by any means whatsoever including through a third person”.

He must also not “make any adjustments, or allow third parties to make adjustments, to the current Fetlife account ‘The Wolf””.

Mr Murphy must report to police daily and not go near international departure points.

Fetlife’s website says it has 108,292 groups who participate in 6.6 million “discussions” that attend nearly 500,000 “events”

Police believe “The Wolf” may have more alleged victims and have urged anyone who believes they were assaulted to contact police.

“Any person who believes they have been assaulted should report the matter to police. Reports can be made at any police station,” Kings Cross Crime Manager, Detective Inspector Robert Allison

“Investigations are continuing and anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact Kings Cross Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”

UK – HULL – A Hull dominatrix is offering free meals and haircuts on Christmas Day for people who are “down on their luck”.

Julie Preston, who has put on charity events in the past for the homeless community, has organised an event to “give something back” to people who are homeless, lonely or want to help out themselves, which will be held at Take A Break Café in Church Street, east Hull.

“The owner Tina and one of her employees, Sharon, have kindly offered to open the café and work on Christmas Day, which I couldn’t thank them enough for,” said Miss Preston, who works under the name Mistress Dita.

She has previously sold her collection of designer shoes to raise funds for local charities.

Miss Preston said: “All the food from the day has kindly been donated by Exelby Foods, Greencore and Aunt Bessies, with presents donated by generous Hull folk. Helping Hands will also be coming down on the day to hand out quilts and pillows.

“All this has been able to take place with huge thanks to the brilliant people of Hull. I can never do anything without their generosity, help and support. I am blessed.”

Take A Break Café is located at 3 Church Street, east Hull. You can call the café on 01482 216782 or find them on Facebook.
