UK – DEVON – A run-down Devon pub has been converted into an upmarket sex club complete with a bondage dungeon, sauna and dance floor.
Within Temptation opened as a private members’ club that caters for single people and “swinging” couples.
It has a fully-equipped bondage dungeon, a swimming pool, showers, “play rooms” with space for 30 or more people at a time and a pole-dancing area, DevonLive reports.
It also has a bar, a dance floor and a sauna.
The owners say people are travelling hundreds of miles to see what the former Hop and Grapes pub is like as membership is skyrocketing.
Nikki, one of the partners behind the “lifestyle venue” venture, told DevonLive: “It’s all about enjoyment.
Dave, the other owner, added: “It might not be everybody’s cup of tea, but it will be for a lot of people.”
The venue transformed over the lockdown after a £370,000 revamp and opened in July.
Nikki and Dave say they were encouraged to renovate the old pub and invest it by the council.
They also had no problems with licensing.
