Ever wondered what it’s like working as a dominatrix?
When you picture a dominatrix, you probably see a woman dressed in latex, humiliating her clients for sexual pleasure.
But Paula Dreidemie, 32, is so much more than that.
The writer and filmmaker, also known as Goddess Tisiphone, began pursuing her interest in BDSM after her divorce.
She was just 26 when she married a man she only knew for a month before breaking things off two years later.
Now Paula explores her sexuality where she owns a dungeon in Paris and works as a dominatrix for Kaufmich.
The sex worker is paid to “kidnap” her clients and re-educate them in matters of social justice, feminism and queerness.
Meanwhile, she hosts BDSM workshops for women and fellow members of the LGBTQ+ community.
Paula, who’s currently writing a novel, told Daily Star: “My days are definitely unique.
“I wake up early, usually around 8:30am, make a coffee, feed my two dogs and re-read what I wrote for my novel.
“After I check and answer my messages from submissives, I go to my dungeon where I have a client session.
“I go either before or after the gym (depending on whether my client wants me clean or dirty).
“During sessions, I make clients read books about subjects I’m passionate about, including feminism and social justice.”
The dominatrix describes herself as a “very strict teacher” where she forces them to hear her voice.
She charges £217 (€250) for 30 minute sessions.
Paula operates through Kaufmich because she feels like it’s a supportive community filled with empowered women.
When it comes to what really happens in her dungeons, the dominatrix claimed no sexual practices are allowed.
And orgasms are usually won or earned.
She added: “My clients’ minds are stripped, touched, and aroused during our sessions; not their bodies, nor mine.
“I tell clients their bodies serve as a connection between me and their souls.
“My services centre around power exchanges, pain, fear, humiliation and objectification of the submissive who visits.”
Other services she offers include keeping her “slaves” locked in a cage or chained in a basement at their request.
Since turning to the world of sex, Paula has never been happier.
She continued: “I knew I wasn’t interested in a typical 9-5 job and although everyone in my family is an engineer.
“Fortunately, my family see my intelligence and sensibility, so they understand how perfectly my job suits me.
“It really does fit me like a glove.”
