“My submissives, often referred to as ‘pay pigs’ or ‘fansubs’, find deep fulfilment in surrendering their economic power to me.”

AUSTRALIA – When asked about the craziest OnlyFans request she’s ever had, Gold Coast-based financial dominatrix and sex worker, Minki Minna, has multiple stories to choose from. For example, when she was paid $3,700 to put her painted toenail clippings into a Ziplock bag and send them to a fan, or when a subscriber got her name tattooed on his wrist in exchange for a lifetime subscription.

“We all have different kinks in the bedroom that we should not feel ashamed of,” Minki says. “For some men, that is to be bullied, drained and degraded.” By ‘drained’, she’s referring to emptying a bank account. Financial domination (findom) is a fetish lifestyle activity in which a submissive gives gifts or money to a dominant, getting off on the loss of control and financial power.

The idea of someone handing over gifts or money with no caveats or expectations sounds almost too good to be true. Is it? Below, I asked Minki Minna all of my burning questions about financial domination. Here’s what she had to say.

For those who may be unfamiliar, what is a financial dominatrix exactly?

As a financial dominatrix, my role involves a specialised form of power exchange within the BDSM community, centred specifically around financial control. This dynamic is built on the thrill and satisfaction of having consensual control over a submissive’s finances.

My submissives, often referred to as ‘pay pigs’ or ‘fansubs’, find deep fulfilment in surrendering their economic power to me, which can involve me dictating their spending, demanding financial tributes or setting strict financial budgets for them.

It’s important to note that my services as a fandom are not always sexual in the traditional sense. Instead, the relationship is based on psychological control and the power dynamics of domination and submission. This form of interaction is intensely psychological, involving elements of humiliation and power play that are agreed upon in advance.

How did you get your start in the industry?

I have always been interested in findom work and when I started OnlyFans, it just naturally occurred… speaking about my role [as a findom] on social media, subs were able to find my OnlyFans page and build relationships through there.

What kind of clientele does financial domination attract?

I think that there isn’t a one-size-fits-all persona for my findom subs, they are from all walks of life and each person has different wants and fantasies within the financial domination realm. Findom is for anyone who has an interest, but usually, my findom customers are submissive types.

Can you give us an example of some of the craziest requests you’ve had?

One of my long-time submissives had a fantasy of getting a small bank loan and giving it all to me, being forced to make weekly repayments and think of me each time he made a repayment. We spoke about the amount [and] initially he wanted to do $50,000, but I had a look at his finances and would only let him give me $25,000. He did and we still engage in findom play to this day.

Why do you think people enjoy being financially dominated?

I think it’s just a kink. As with any kink, there usually isn’t any rhyme or reason – the heart wants what it wants. But I think the reason people enjoy findom is [because of] the power play and often the domination and humiliation that can occur. Each person is different so I like to have a detailed conversation before we engage, to make sure I understand what aspects of the fetish they enjoy as some may like to be degraded but others don’t.

What does a day in your life look like?

Honestly, my life from the outside seems very eventful as social media often only portrays fun and exciting things. In actuality, I’m pretty boring. I’m a full-time uni student so I will be at uni on weekdays and then when I get home I’ll do calls, customs and OnlyFans messaging. On weekends I’ll be doing collabs with other creators for other OnlyFans domains as findom only makes up a quarter of my OnlyFans life. When I do have a day off I’ll be at the beach or doing something lowkey.

I think with OnlyFans it really is a full-time job. Even when I’m studying I’ll still have OnlyFans open, replying to messages. Because OnlyFans has no internal foot traffic I need to advertise on social media, so I need to be posting daily across all my social media platforms. I currently run three Instagram accounts, a TikTok and a Twitter, so creating daily content that is enticing and relevant is definitely a full-time job as well.

I think I never really switch off from online work because there isn’t ever a time that it finishes. I have subs from all over the world all in different time zones that I chat to, so there is never a ‘finish time’ like a regular nine-to-five would have. For me, the biggest challenge I have is with balancing study and work… I love the work though, and I feel very lucky that I have been able to put myself through university for six years without any help.
