USA – Ariana Grande’s new single “Dangerous Woman” is currently slaying radios and charts in the USA. And although this success is amazing, things can still be improved – that’s why every new little promotional effort from Ariana counts.
On Sunday night, March 20th, the pint-sized singer from Boca Raton, Florida uploaded to her VEVO channel a video where we could see her singing new sensual single “Dangerous Woman” completely acapella. And if you’ve seen Ariana’s covers for her upcoming new album and new single, you can rapidly tell that this acapella promo video was shot during the photoshoot session she did to promote her new era. You can see Ari wearing the same black latex dominatrix outfit with the bunny-like face/head piece.
It kind of gives the impression at the start that this acapella moment is something unrehearsed and impromptu, but my mind just can’t believe it. This must’ve been something prepared by Ariana and her label to use later as promotion material.
Ariana sings “Dangerous Woman” acapella so well! Stunning vocals, so much emotion in her delivery, and seeing her performing in this dominatrix-ish get-up was just both cool and funny. Truth is I’m finding myself watching this video over and over again! Definitely a great move by Republic Records to shoot this.
Something that I wish could have been better? The camera work! I would have wanted to see more angles of this Ariana acapella “performance”. I mean, when are we going to see her performing in this bunny-dominatrix outfit again… (sad face).
