USA – A chain used to measure the first down marker broke during last weekend’s New York Giants vs Philadelphia Eagles playoff showdown, but it may have just been the best thing to happen to the NFL
A professional dominatrix has made a saucy officer to the NFL following the chain fiasco that held up the New York Giants 7-38 Philadelphia Eagles playoff game last weekend.
But the chains that Ana Kalistasia is used to working with aren’t really designed to measure first down markers in American Football. Not that that’s stopped her from offering her services to NFL Commissioner Roger Goddell, which while unorthodox – may just boost ratings.
Kalistasia, who works for CamSoda, wrote Goddell an e-mail which has been seen by Daily Star Sport. The stunner references last Saturday’s fiasco, boasting: “I often use chains, whips, and gags (oh my) to excite my fans. I’m writing to offer my services to help you better maintain your chains during this Sunday’s NFL Conference Championship games.”
Kalistasia claimed to be taken aback by the saga, and outlined her X-rated solution: “I was shocked to see the chains snap early in the first quarter,” she added. “I have chains that are older than some of the players and have been through way more strain and never had them break.
“As a football fan – and let’s face it, we’re both focused on giving Americans entertainment and pleasure – I’d like to offer my services to make sure this never happens again by joining your chain gang. I can start as soon as the upcoming NFC Championship on Sunday.
“I’d be happy to come by Lincoln Financial Field before the game and inspect the chains ahead of the Eagles-49ers matchup on Sunday.
I can help develop a protocol for chain inspection and maintenance, including greasing up the links.”
Modestly, the star isn’t demanding money for her services either: “I hope that you will accept this win-win offer,” she wrote.
“All I ask in return is to be recognised as the league’s official cam model and acknowledgment of my heroism.”
Cheekily, the model signed off with an assumption that Goddell would soon be utilising her: “Looking forward to speaking with you. Sincerely, Ana Kalistasia. Professional Dominatrix and future official cam model of the NFL.”
Of course, if accepted, her offer could change the face of NFL games, but may make pre-watershed contests tricky. Many fans may already be familiar with her, given her 1.2million following on Instagram.
