GERMANY – MUNSTER -A married father in his 60s who revealed last week how he was scammed by a dominatrix he met online says she has now threatened to send images of their chats to his family and their workplaces.

The man, who is based in Munster and asked not to be named, told the Sunday World how he ended up paying €1,200 to a woman calling herself Ms Penelope who said she would be his ‘mistress’ and he could be her ‘slave’. He also gave another €400 to a second mistress who he believed was in cahoots with Ms Penelope.
He told how he paid via Apple card as she convinced him it was going to be used to buy sex toys, a dog collar, handcuffs and a latex suit to be used when he visited her sex dungeon.
However, he said he never got the items and didn’t want the latex suit anyway as he was 25 stone and would struggle to get it on.
The man also told the Sunday World how he realised he was being set up for blackmail after Ms Penelope asked him to send on his wife’s online profiles.
However, he came clean to his wife before meeting us last week to share his story and she forgave him — and even told him she would have hit him for free.
This week Ms Penelope tried to blackmail the man, threatening to send his highly sexualised chats with her to his wife’s workplace and to other family members.
“She’s been trying to blackmail me. She even said she’d get the FBI to go to my wife’s workplace and get them to arrest her. I told her the FBI don’t even work here, you fool.
“She was on Facebook or something and started naming off names of relations of mine and started saying she would send them pictures and all that.
“She was doing a lot of ranting but has calmed down now, I think.” He said he told Ms Penelope that the Sunday World has reported on the story and believes she will now stop trying to blackmail him, but admitted he had been anxious she was going to follow through on the threats earlier this week.
“She said she was going to get my wife sacked out of the job and send pictures of our messages to her workplace. There’s not a hope she’d be able to do that. Sure the wife said to me it was Miss Penelope who did all the wrong things.”
He said he was glad he came forward to tell his story to warn others not become victims.
“It was a great story. I was really happy with it. I told Ms Penelope to buy the Sunday World and look at Page 16 and 17 and said ‘you’re on it’. She was asking me to send on the pictures on Zangi.
“I’m grand now. She has read it somewhere, I know that. She was probably warned by whoever is working with her, saying leave it now. Don’t make a big deal of it and blow it out of proportion.
“I’d say she got a warning from someone else above her.”
The woman claimed to be based in different parts of Ireland including Ennis, Tullamore and Cork, but the victim said they could have been anywhere in the world and could have been grandmothers in their eighties for all he knew and using other people’s pictures.
He said it was his own stupidity to willingly hand over €1,200 in Apple gift card codes to Ms Penelope and another €400 to another mistress, but once she went down the road of blackmail she was engaging in criminality.
“I handed over the gift cards freely, I know that, but when she starts trying to blackmail she’s moving into new territory.”
He said his wife has forgiven him for getting involved with the online dominatrix.
“My wife is grand. She had a laugh at the piece and loved the quote where she said she would have hit me for free. She loved that one. She’s talking about framing it. The two of us were laughing at it.”
He said Ms Penelope is still online and contacting him.
“I was on TikTok this week and looking for the craic and she did start following me,” he said.
He said he was painting his house for his wife to make up for his sex chats with the dominatrix.
“I’m in painting in the kitchen now for the wife and that’s my penance,” he said.
