FRANCE – Notorious 85-year-old dominatrix Catherine Robbe-Grillet makes a rare appearance Wednesday night at the French Institute Alliance Française on East 59th Street.

“Get a fascinating glimpse inside the secret ceremonies and sadomasochistic rites of Madame and her companion/submissive Beverly Charpentier,” FIAF’s website suggests.

The two women live in a 17th-century chñteau in Normandy where they “conduct elaborate private ceremonies that demand incredible acts of devotion and submission.”

Robbe-Grillet is the subject of Lina Mannheimer’s documentary “La CĂ©rĂ©monie,” which premiered at the 2015 South by Southwest Film Festival.

Toni Bentley — author of a profile of Robbe-Grillet that ran last year in Vanity Fair, “The Thin End of the Whip” — will moderate the discussion. Ooh la la!
